Subject: International Cricket Captain

Hi, just writing to ask if there are any patches, fixes etc. available which will allow the original International Cricket Captain to run on Windows XP on the PC.
I have tried the compatibility wizard a number of times but to no avail. I only get an error message when I try to run the game saying 'you need your system font size set to 'small fonts' for this program to run'.
I have been contacted via my website by others who have experienced similar problems, so I'm sure it's not my copy of the game which is at fault.
Hope you can help.
Thanks for reading this,

Unfortunately there are no new updates for this product. The issue is basically that Windows XP does not support the Small Font option originally required by the game producing the error that you have reported. Running it Under Windows XP Compatibility does not resolve the issue no matter which setting you try, and installing the small font option does not help resolve the issue.

There will be no further updates for this product which is now classed as a delisted product within our range with the arrival of ICC 2005 which will soon be patched for Internet connection and the resolution of bug issues reported on the forum. The ICC 2005 patch is under test at this moment in time.
We are sorry that we cannot provide you with a definitive answer to the issue you have raised.
