I have set up a discussion
board for this site. As well as answering questions etc., hope that this
will become a depository for many resources including photographs,
databases and save files (which I intend to upload at some point). So,
visit and post your views! I'd like to see how many people actually still
play the game. Address: |

This will probably never reach
the popularity level of the Cricketgames and Cricketweb forums, but will
hopefully get at least some members. We'll see how it goes. |

Part of the reason I
haven't been updating this site much is because of that damn humour
website uncyclopedia.
There's some really good cricket based stuff there, including the
video game Age of Umpires. Check out these links:

Spent a weekend adding to and

Running the game on
Windows XP or later |
November 2005 |
|
Following a request by
e-mail, I can state that I too have had problems attempting to get
the original ICC working on Windows XP operating systems. The error
message that appears mentions system font sizes, and this seems to
be the butt of the problem. I plan to contact Empire Interactive
requesting some sort of patch. It's probably the game's waning
popularity due to more updated versions of the game which has
stopped potential ICC fanatics programming one before now. |

Australian Cricket
Captain |
August 2005 |
|
Whilst this website
covers the British county version of Cricket Captain, I am aware
that the Australian State equivalent which is available in
Australasia is very similar. However, I have never played this
version, so I don't know which parts of this site will be relevant
to it. I will look into adding an ACC page. In the meantime,
